Nama jamaicensis Linnaeus. Common name: Jamaica Weed, Fiddleleaf, Fiddleleaf Nama. Phenology: Apr-Jul. Habitat: Lawns, other disturbed areas, sometimes rockland hammocks, disturbed areas over limestone. Distribution: Native of tropical America (probably including s. FL and TX).
