not marked as a favorite taxon *Cruciata pedemontana (Bellardi) Ehrendorfer. Common name: Piedmont Bedstraw, Piedmont Crosswort. Phenology: Apr-Jul. Habitat: Lawns, grassy roadsides, pastures. Distribution: Native of s. Europe. In Georgia Mountains and Piedmont (T. Govus, pers. comm. 2005). Reported for Delaware and Maryland by Longbottom, Naczi, & Knapp (2016).
