Galium pedemontanum (Bellardi) Allioni. Piedmont Bedstraw, Piedmont Crosswort. Phen: Apr-Jul. Hab: Lawns, grassy roadsides, pastures. Dist: Native of s. Europe. The Piedmont referred to in the name is the ‘original’ Piedmont of southern Europe.
