Mecardonia procumbens (Miller) Small. Baby Jump-up. Phen: (Mar-) Jun-Sep (-Feb). Hab: Ponds, streams, ditches, moist shores. Dist: FL, AL, MS, AR, TX, NM, and AZ south. Reported for MS (Philley 2020).

ID notes: Often mistaken for a yellow-flowered Gratiola.
