Liatris elegans (Walter) Michaux var. kralii M.H. Mayfield. Common name: Kral's Elegant Blazing-star. Phenology: Aug-Oct (-Nov). Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills. Distribution: Se. SC (Allendale Co.) south to n. FL and west to s. MS.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic
