Hab: Spruce-fir forests, northern hardwood forests, mountain seepages and streambanks, other cool, moist situations. Dist: NL (Newfoundland) and QC south to w. NC, nw. SC (Bradley et al. [in prep.]), ne. GA, and e. TN.
