Polymnia canadensis Linnaeus. White-flowered Leafcup. Phen: Jul-Oct. Hab: Moist forests, particularly over calcareous rocks. Dist: VT and ON west to MN, south to NC, nw. GA, AL, and AR.

Taxonomy Comments: Previously recognized species or varieties (see synonymy) may have merit and need additional evaluation (Tennessee Flora Committee 2015). The "canadensis entity" has short rays (1-5 mm long; the "radiata entity" has longer, showier rays (6-13 mm long).
