*Cerastium brachypetalum Desportes. Gray Mouse-ear. Phen: Apr-Jun. Hab: Lawns, roadsides, disturbed areas. Dist: Native of Europe. The reports of C. tetrandrum for e. VA in Fernald (1950) and Gleason & Cronquist (1952) are actually this species.
