Eriogonum Michaux. Subfamily: Eriogonoideae. Wild-buckwheat.

Key to Eriogonum

A genus of about 250 species, herbs and shrubs, of w. North America (a few in se. North America). Like Astragalus, Eriogonum is represented in e. North America by a small number of species restricted to unusually dry habitats, where stranded by past climate changes and migrations.
