Solidago dispersa Small. Subgenus: Pleiactila. Section: Argutae. Subsection: Argutae. Louisiana Goldenrod. Phen: Jul-Oct. Hab: Longleaf pine woodlands, other dry woodlands and barrens, disturbed areas, especially in sandy soils. Dist: AR and OK south to s. LA and e. TX.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: We accept Nesom's (2009f) analysis of the correct name for this species.
