*Smyrnium perfoliatum Linnaeus. Perfoliate Alexanders. Hab: Moist forests. Dist: Native of Mediterranean Europe. Found in a mesic forest in Cherokee County, AL, apparently introduced via seed in nursery material (Keener 2007).
