Goodyera pubescens (Willdenow) R. Brown. Downy Rattlesnake-orchid. Phen: Jun-Aug. Hab: Dry to moist forests and woodlands. Dist: NB west to ON and MN, south to Panhandle FL, MS, and AR.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Other Comments: One of the commonest of orchids in much of its extensive range in eastern North America.
