Crataegus ×fecunda Sargent. St. Clair Hawthorn. Phen: Apr; Sep-Oct. Hab: Rich forests. Dist: KY, s. IL, and MO south to ne. AR, along the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers

ID notes: Characteristic are the large (to 8 cm), sharply serrate, mostly obovate leaves, 1-2 cm, glandular petioles, large fruit (13-25 mm) and slightly hairy character of floral parts.
