Aristida patula Chapman ex Nash. Common name: Tall Three-awn. Phenology: Jun-Nov. Habitat: Dry to moist sandy soils of pond margins, pine flatwoods, sabal palm hammock margins, other pinelands, dunes, pastures. Distribution: Endemic to FL Panhandle (Dixie, Franklin, Gadsden, Leon, Taylor, and Wakulla counties) (Wunderlin & Hansen 2006) and peninsula.

Synonymy : = FlGr, FNA25, GW1, HC, K4, NS, POWO, S, S13, SFla, WH3. Basionym: Aristida patula Chapm. ex Nash 1896
