Elymus trachycaulus (Link) Gould ex Shinners ssp. subsecundus (Link) Á. Löve & D. Löve. Common name: Bearded Wheatgrass. Phenology: Jun-Aug. Habitat: Glades, barrens, open woodlands. Distribution: NL (Newfoundland) west to AK, south to MD, WV, KY, MO, NM, AZ, and CA.
