Elymus trachycaulus (Link) Gould ex Shinners ssp. trachycaulus. Common name: Slender Wheatgrass. Phenology: Jul-Aug. Habitat: Glades and barrens, over serpentine, etc. Distribution: Greenland, NL (Labrador), Keewatin, NU, YT, and AK, south to w. NC, nw. SC (Bradley et al. [in prep.]), OH, IN, IL, MO, TX, Mexico and CA.
