Mimosa

not marked as a favorite taxon *Mimosa pudica Linnaeus. Common name: Sensitive Plant, Shameplant. Phenology: Jul-Jan (-Jun); Jul-Jan (-Jan). Habitat: Disturbed areas, only a waif in the northern parts of our area. Distribution: Native of the Neotropics; only established in Florida in our region.
