Atriplex mucronata Rafinesque. Subgenus: Obione. Section: Obione. Subsection: Arenariae. Common name: Seabeach Orach, Quelite. Phenology: Jul-frost. Habitat: Ocean beaches, island-end flats. Distribution: NH south to FL west to TX; Bahamas.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: This species and A. pentandra are closely related, and have been variously treated as species, subspecies, varieties, and forms.
