Sarracenia rubra Walter ssp. gulfensis Schnell. Common name: Gulf Pitcherplant. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Seepage bogs and wet pine savannas. Distribution: Panhandle FL and s. AL (Covington County) (W. Barger, pers.comm., 2023).

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Synonymy : = Fl5, FNA8, K4, WH3, McPherson & Schnell (2011), Rice (2018), Schnell (2002b); < Sarracenia rubra Walter — GW2, S, S13, Case & Case (1976), McDaniel (1971), Wood (1960). Basionym: Sarracenia rubra Walter ssp. gulfensis Schnell 1979
