Utricularia foliosa Linnaeus. Common name: Flatstem Bladderwort. Phenology: Aug. Habitat: In deep water of natural lakes and ponds. Distribution: Se. NC south to s. FL, west to TX (Brown & Marcus 1998); West Indies, South America, Africa. This species was reported for NC by Taylor (1989).
