Chrysopsis scabrella Torrey & A. Gray. Phen: Aug-Nov (-Apr). Hab: Longleaf pine sandhills, Florida scrub, disturbed sandy soils. Dist: FL peninsula; also disjunct at scattered sites in the Carolinas, where uncertainly native.
