Rudbeckia umbrosa C.L. Boynton & Beadle. Common name: Appalachian Coneflower. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Rich calcareous slopes, bottomlands, well-drained uplands. Distribution: VA, OH, IN, and MO south to GA, MS, and AR.
