Urochloa Palisot de Beauvois. Common name: Para-grass, Signal-grass.

A genus of about 100 species, pantropical and subtropical. In the Sputheastern US, this genus consists of primarily non-native species and only a few taxa considered native. A few waifs have poor historical documentation in the flora region.
