*Abelia ×grandiflora (André) Rehder. Abelia. Hab: Suburban thickets, commonly planted in our area, sometimes persistent or rarely weakly naturalizing. Dist: Horticultural hybrid of A. chinensis and A. uniflora (the parent species native of China). Reported for AL (Diamond & Woods 2009) and for AR (Serviss & Peck 2019).

Origin/Endemic status: E. and se. Asia

Synonymy : = Fl7, K1, K3, K4, WH3; = Abelia chinensis × uniflora; = Linnaea ×grandiflora (André) Christenh. – Christenhusz (2013); = n/a – RAB
