Eryngium

not marked as a favorite taxon *Eryngium campestre Linnaeus. Common name: Field Eryngo. Phenology: Jun-Aug. Habitat: Ballast waif around ports. Distribution: Native of (mostly) Mediterranean Europe, n. Africa, and w. Asia. Reported from s. Alabama (Mobile), Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey (Bell 1963; Kartesz 2022).
