Waldsteinia Willdenow. Subfamily: Rosoideae. Tribe: Colurieae. Common name: Barren-strawberry.
A genus of about 7 species, perennial herbs, of disjunct areas in the Northern Hemisphere. Sometimes included in Geum. Protopopova, Pavlichenko, and Stepanov (2021) and Protopopova et al. (2023) supported its treatment as a genus separate from Geum.
