Asplenium plenum E.P. St. John ex Small. Common name: Ruffled Spleenwort. Habitat: On moist, shaded limestone. Distribution: Endemic in n. peninsular FL.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: This species is an allotetraploid derived from hybridization between A. verecundum and A. curtissii (itself a hybrid derivative of A. abscissum × verecundum). Its chromosome complement can be symbolized as AVVV.

Synonymy : = Fl1, FNA2, K4, NS, POWO, Sf; = Asplenium ×plenum E.P.St.John ex Small — WH3. Basionym: Asplenium plenum E.P.St.John ex Small 1938
