*Sisyrinchium micranthum Cavanilles. Common name: Lawn Blue-eyed-grass, Fairy Stars, Annual Blue-eyed-grass. Phenology: Mar-Jun; Mar-Jun. Habitat: Lawns, roadsides, prairies, pinelands. Distribution: Apparently introduced from South America (se. VA south to s. FL, west to e. TX).

Origin/Endemic status: South America
