Clematis addisonii Britton. Subgenus: Viorna. Addison's Leatherflower. Phen: Apr-Jun; May-Jul. Hab: Dry to mesic calcareous barrens, woodlands, and forests, over dolostone (Elbrook Formation). Dist: Endemic to w. VA (Botetourt, Montgomery, Roanoke, and Rockbridge counties).
