Ipomoea cordatotriloba Dennstedt var. cordatotriloba . Coastal Morning-glory, Tie-vine. Phen: (Apr-) Jun-Oct (-Nov). Hab: Dunes, sandy areas on barrier islands, other sandy habitats. Dist: Se. NC south to s. FL, west to e. TX and AR; Mexico. Attribution of this species to South America are based on Ipomoea australis (Wood et al. 2020).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: The correct nomenclature was discussed by Manitz (1983).
