Habitat: Moist soils adjacent to granitic flatrocks, seepage areas, ephemeral pools, moist sandy sites, low fields, ditches. Distribution: Se. VA, c. NC, KY, s. IL, MO, and se. KS south to Panhandle FL and c. TX; also in CA.
