Cuscuta campestris Yuncker. Field Dodder, Prairie Dodder. Phen: Late May-Nov. Hab: Roadsides, fields, open disturbed areas, especially (but not only) on herbaceous Fabaceae. Dist: Nearly cosmopolitan because of its common association with cultivated legumes, its original distribution unclear.
