*Myriophyllum aquaticum (Vellozo) Verdcourt. Subgenus: Myriophyllum. Section: Pectinatum. Common name: Parrot-feather. Phenology: Apr-Sep. Habitat: Ditches, slow-moving rivers, pools, ponds. Distribution: Native of South America. An introduced species now widespread in se. United States, north to NY, WV, and MO.
