*Aesculus hippocastanum Linnaeus. Common name: Horsechestnut. Phenology: May. Habitat: Urban and suburban areas, perhaps not definitely naturalized, but fairly often planted as a street tree and escaping as seedlings in the vicinity of plantings. Distribution: Native of se. Europe.
