Hab: Post oak savannas, margins of post oak woodlands, and sandy prairies in the Carrizo Sands. Dist: Endemic to the Carrizo Sands, in ne. TX (Cherokee, Henderson, Smith, and Van Zandt counties) (Estes 2006; Carr 2016).
